# InvestPolitics U.S. Public Beta — Trust Data Disclosure v1 This disclosure explains how Trust activity should be interpreted in the InvestPolitics U.S. Public Beta. ## Trust is a civic simulation signal InvestPolitics asks participants to allocate a limited virtual Trust Point budget among eligible U.S. public officials. Because the budget is limited, allocations can express relative strength of civic trust within the product. Trust Points have no cash value and are not investments, donations, votes, wagers, scientific poll responses, election forecasts, or endorsements. ## What we record For an eligible participant, InvestPolitics may record: - current Trust Point balance; - which eligible public officials receive Trust Points; - amount allocated to each eligible public official; - allocation, reclaim, and reallocation events; - source of points, such as initial or later earned points; and - timestamps and integrity metadata needed to maintain the Trust ledger. The initial 100,000-point budget and later earned points are separate sources so they can be analyzed separately. ## How Trust data may be analyzed InvestPolitics may use Trust activity to understand: - relative Trust distribution among participating users; - how Trust changes over time; - concentration or diversity of Trust allocations; - aggregate or de-identified changes associated with public events or product participation; and - other civic Trust patterns described in the current methodology. Future features may combine Trust activity with voluntary Civic Profile responses or referral-network relationships in aggregated or de-identified analysis. Those features require their applicable disclosure and product controls before activation. ## What Trust data does not prove InvestPolitics participation is self-selected and is not designed to be a probability sample of the U.S. population. Trust metrics therefore must not be presented as nationally representative public opinion unless a separately documented methodology justifies that claim. A Trust score or ranking is not: - an election forecast; - a vote share estimate; - evidence that a participant supports every position of a public official; - an official endorsement; or - a financial valuation. ## Individual privacy boundary Individual participant Trust allocations are private account data and are not publicly displayed as named political profiles. InvestPolitics does not sell individual Trust histories or provide them for individualized political advertising or campaign targeting. Public or institutional outputs should use aggregated or de-identified information unless a participant separately and explicitly chooses a future public-sharing feature. ## Corrections, withdrawal, and deletion Trust records are subject to integrity controls, privacy requests, withdrawal, and deletion/de-identification rules described in the Public Beta Privacy Notice. A pending withdrawal or deletion process may block further Trust mutation. ## Legal-review status This is an operator-adopted Public Beta disclosure. It is subject to post-launch legal and product review and does not imply outside-counsel approval.
